Slum Children Program

To seek new ways of livelihood or in search of better employment opportunities massive migration has occurred in the capital Dhaka. Most of these migrants settle in the slums. Both male & female have to work for earning for their livelihood. So most parents keep their children at home in an uncared and abandoned situation. Children are often left alone when parents go to work and their education is not the priority of their families. The project aims at providing education, training, psycho-social and legal support as well as early childcare to slum children, in order to provide them with skills and competence necessary to integrate in the society and to stand on their own feet.

Specific objectives of the program:

  • To support the disadvantage slum children for protect & promote their rights and improve their life opportunities.
  • To protect the slum children from being the street children.
  • To prevent child laborer through providing education for them.
  • To combat the early marriage of girls children.
  • To integrate the disadvantage children in the society as a good citizen.
