Specific responsibilities:
The persons (1 in Dhaka and 1 in Jamalpur) will be responsible to implement the education activities for shelter based and non-institutional children. He/she will be responsible for enrolling children in formal schools/follow-up,
providing after school education, protection and safety for all children. The teachers will ensure all admission and education records in the children’s individual files. They will also provide assessment of children’s education progress.
They will provide monthly reports to the Manager.
Educaional Qualification: Masters / Bachelor Degree in Social Science Education or any other relevant subject.
Job Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
01. Age 25 to 35 year(s)
02. A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with the NGOs;
03. Must be fluent in Bangla and Computer literacy skills. English will be added an advantages.
04. Experience of working with disadvantaged & traumatized children independently with skilled teams.
05. Experience of networking and mobilization of local communities, local government/elected representatives, service providers and institutions.
06. Good team working skills.
07. Disseminate training to external stakeholders.
Job Location: Dhaka, Jamalpur
Duration: 17 Months
Salary: 18,000 BDT
Other Benefits: Festival bonus: 2 equivalent of 1 month gross salary
