Part-time Counsellors cum Case Managers (Dhaka, Jamalpur)

Specific responsibilities:
The persons (1 in Dhaka and 1 in Jamalpur) will be responsible to provide counselling to safe shelter and non-institutional children in the safe shelters. The persons will also be responsible for maintaining case
management records of all children. He/she will also make family visits to the homes of children who are victims/at risk of trafficking/exploitation/abuse to provide counselling to parents. They will regularly
update the information in the children’s individual files and provide case studies. They will maintain counselling files and keep all documentation strictly confidential.
Educaional Qualification: Minimum masters in Social Science, Phychology or any other relevant subject.
Job Experience: 2 to 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
01. Age 25 to 35 year(s)
02. A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with the NGOs;
03. Must be fluent in Bangla. English and Computer literacy skills will be an advantage.
04. Experience of working with disadvantaged & traumatized children independently with skilled teams.
05. Experience of networking and mobilization of local communities, local government/elected representatives, service providers and institutions.
06. Good team working skills.
07. Disseminate training to external stakeholders.
Job Location: Dhaka, Jamalpur
Duration: 17 Months
Salary: 15,000 BDT
