Specific responsibilities:
This person will be hired full-time (100%) for the project period and will be responsible to manage the project activities at Dhaka and Jamalpur according to the action plan and ensure coordination.
The responsibility also includes working in close collaboration with Department of Social Services (DSS), Counter Trafficking Committees (CTCs), Child Welfare Boards (CWDs) and Community-Based Child Protection
Committees (CBCPCs). He/she will manage and supervise the work of the projects staffs. He/she will ensure minimum standard of care of the shelter, child safeguarding & protection policies in terms of providing
protection, care and services. The person will also ensure function of the Mother’s, Community, Journalist, Youth and Children’s Groups with the Social Workers and Centre Manager. He/she will oversee meaningful
reintegration with families and referral/linkages of the survivors of trafficking into government and non-government social protection services.in collaboration with the Manager and Social Workers. He/she will
be responsible for arranging National level Advocacy with guidance from Senior Management Team and also ensure Advocacy programme in Jamalpur with the assistance of the Manager and Social Worker. He/she is also
responsible for preparing draft quarterly narrative report, ensuring quality case studies with impact and impact data report according to Donor formats and arranging monthly staff meeting, and other need based
meetings to provide support to the project staff.
Educaional Qualification: Minimum Masters in Social Science (Psichology or any other relevant subject)
Job Experience: At least 05 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
01. Age 35 to 45 year(s)
02. A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with the NGOs;
03. Must be fluent in Bangla and English and Computer literacy skills.
04. Experience of working with disadvantaged & traumatized children independently with skilled teams.
05. Experience of advocacy with government, networking and mobilization of local communities, local government/elected representatives, service providers and institutions.
06. Good team building skills.
07. Ability to facilitate training to external stakeholders and team members.
Job Location: Dhaka and Jamalpur
Duration: 17 Months
Salary: 50,000 BDT
Other Benefits: Festival bonus: 2 equivalent of 1 month gross salary
