Specific responsibilities:
This person will be hired full-time (100%) for the project period and will be responsible to manage the project activities at Jamalpur. The person will also manage quality services to the beneficiaries at the shelter.
The person will also assist the Coordinator in working with DSS, CTCs, CWDs, CBCPCs and will ensure function of the Mother’s, Community, Journalist, Youth and Children’s Groups with the Social Worker. He/she will be
responsible for implementing local level advocacy initiatives with the help of coordinator. He/she will be responsible for implementing successful reintegration of the survivors by developing an individual care plan, in
collaboration with the Counsellor cum Case Manager and Social Worker by following the case management system. He/she will ensure awareness raising sessions for the shelter and non-institutional children at the shelter homes
through the social worker. He/she will ensure effective network with families of non-institutional children and community mobilization activity with the Social Worker. He/she will be responsible for preparing reports (e.g,
quarterly narrative report, survivors progress report, case study etc.) and submit these to the Coordinator. He/she is responsible for ensuring safeguarding and child protection systems in the shelter. He/she is also responsible
for providing monthly financial requisitions to the Coordinator as per the budget, expenditure related to centre based costs, maintaining financial records at the shelter, submission of accounts/bills/vouchers to the Project Coordinator.
Educaional Qualification: Minimum Masters in Social Science (Psichology or any other relevant subject)
Job Experience: Minimum 05 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
01. Age 30 to 40 year(s)
02. A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with the NGOs;
03. Must be fluent in Bangla and English and Computer literacy skills.
04. Experience of working with disadvantaged & traumatized children independently with skilled teams.
05. Experience of advocacy with government, networking and mobilization of local communities, local government/elected representatives, service providers and institutions.
06. Good team building skills.
07. Disseminate training to external stakeholders and team members.
Job Location: Jamalpur
Duration: 17 Months
Salary: 27,000 BDT
Other Benefits: Festival bonus: 2 equivalent of 1 month gross salary
