Required Experience:
- Gather information at local level on the needs of local communities Districts, Upazilas, Unions through consultations with the local population and local leaders to
understand the primary needs and legal problems these communities and determine the focus of local interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members,
religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development.
- Liaise with relevant local government agencies, law enforcement officials, community leaders and NGOs/CBOs, service providers to collect information useful at devising
strategies to assist communities affected by disputes, legal problems, early marriage, GBV, VAC, illicit trafficking etc.
- Identify and foster relationships with additional Districts, Upazilas, Unions counterparts and stakeholders (including NGOs) relevant for the successful implementation of the programme.
- Organize workshops, trainings and other activities aimed at supporting disadvantaged and har-to reach population and communities to provide information on their rights, protection issues and rights to legal aid support.
- Interpreting as needed from English to local language and vice-versa, in particular in the context of interviews, meetings and various activities with local communities.
- Be in continuous contact with other service providers and implementing partners, in particular NGOs for referral support for the direct beneficiaries and report to the District Managers and Team Leader on relevant achievements and progress.
- Draft short summary on the activities undertaken and engagements with local communities, government entities, and NGOs, as requested by the District Managers and Team Leader.
- Good overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management.
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Prepare case histories of the project beneficiaries.
- Effective design, management and implementation of programmatic activities.
- Effective logistical support to the implementation of project activities.
Educaional Qualification: Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent in law, political science, global studies, international development, public policy or related fields.
Job Experience: At least 05 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
01. Age 30 to 40 year(s)
02. A mature outlook and deep commitment towards working with the NGOs;
03. Must be fluent in Bangla and English and Computer literacy skills.
04. Minimum 5 years of experience in the national level in programme management and project implementation is required; experience with law and Justice, or other human security issues is an asset.
05. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
06. Excellent organizational skills.
Job Location: Dhaka, Gazipur, Tangail and Brahmanbaria
Duration: 24 Months
Salary: 20,000 BDT
