Advocate Sakina Alom, a Panel Lawyer of DLAC, Jhalokathi, 01711-198696, said that “Legal aid case filing budget is not sufficient, attendance fee of lawyer and Mohori fee is only five hundred takas for a case. It is very poor. Mohori’s fee should be one hundred taka for every hearing date. On the other hand, the fee for a Decree case is only one hundred taka. So, I request to higher management review this budget if they have any opportunity.

During the marriage, I give cash two lac forty-five thousand taka to my son-in-law. For about five years he did not take any care or give any maintenance cost to my daughter. On the other hand, it came to our knowledge that he gets his second marriage. They did not want to take any responsibility for my daughter. So, I want justice in this regard.

UPLAC is a working hand of DLAC. For the smooth activity of UPLAC, we will allocate a special office room for UPLAC at our union Parishad complex. Then people can get more service from UPLAC. It will also help to get legal aid services for poor people. We hope that PPJ Jhalokathi will provide all necessary support to us in this regard.
