Bi-monthly meeting: The UPLAC monthly meeting was held on the date 18.09.2022 Mr. Md. Kafil Uddin, Chairmen of Suapur union under Dhamrai Upazila and President Union Legal Aid Committee said I sent a client from a ward of my union to the District Legal Aid Office, Dhaka but before sending I called both parties and arranged for a compromise but they did not listen, when defendants receive court notices from District Legal Aid Offices they come to me and after getting the court notice he got scared then compromises the two sides and they compromise in union parished and informed the DLAO office about this issue.
Public Hearing: Joining in the Public Hearing event on the date 21.09.2022, Balia Union under Dhamrai Upazila, Dhaka and Mr. Abul Hossain (his son phone no-01822433117) asked to the learned District Legal Aid Panel Lawyer Mr. Md. Advocate Jahidul Haque Talukdar of Dhaka, He said one hundred and twenty five decimal of my land is being usurped by another person mane is hasen ali, but the people of the village say that if they want to recover the land, they must first take possession of the land, whatever they have any land related document, I have RS record but SA record in name of Hasan Ali.“How can we get help from District Legal Aid Office? In response to his question, Chairmen Mr. Mugibar Rahman said first you bring your documents to the Union Parishad, we can call both parties and negotiate, otherwise we will send them to the District Legal Aid Office. In response to the question representative of District Legal Aid Office, Advocate Jahidul Haque Talukdar said now the law is the document of the land his that owns the land but occupier the land he is not the land owns that it is better if it is resolved in the Union Parishad, if not, then come to the District Legal Aid Office with all your valid documents, SA and RS paper, land registration, land deed and everything.
